I am at a loss of words for the state of this world. My heart is heavy...my head is cloudy...my soul is tired.
I distrust every institution that our society has to offer. I see them intentionally manipulating people into division...at their best. I distrust every government, every politician, every public figure, every head of every corporation. Their individualized agendas do not serve the people of this world. I see every system as a means to divide, to make people think that they have to choose one side or the other...to pit us against each other in every step we take.
I have no fight with anyone because of their political party, race, or religion. If I could I would erase all of those systems of separation...all of those those thought experiments...
I wish that we could reset our perceptions, to learn to see the world and all of its peoples as US TOGETHER...I wish that we could erase all of these filters of division that we are trained to put our consciousness through...I wish that we could learn to see in a different way....but today my wishing well has been stained with blood.
Yes, black lives matter! Of course they do!!! It's disgusting that this world oppresses people because of the color of their skin, that is the lowest of the low. But it does, and has for a long time. That history of oppression is deep and painful...it is also well maintained and built upon in new ways...and it is exploited to maintain and expand division amongst the people...intentionally. We are continually taught this by the mainstream media...we are taught this through wealth inequality...we are even taught this by an entertainment industry which has been a prevalent holding place for this division...curating that kernel of fear to keep it alive and well...keeping us separate, divided, pit against each other in this and many, many other ways.
It goes so far beyond the racial divisions. I beg of us to wake up. I beg of us to recognize these intentionally manipulated divisions that are placed between us, taught to us, ingrained into us. I beg of us to realize the depth of this carefully crafted division in almost all aspects of all of our societies.
Today I don't have high hopes that most people will awaken from these carefully crafted illusions...we are too entranced by the flickering screens, and we are too enslaved by the need to increase the digital number in our online bank accounts to actually ask what is standing behind that...what is upholding that...and to actually ask why...Why? W H Y ? ?
Some days my hopes are higher than others, today is a dark day.
We need to remember what lies in the core of our being. What is the spiritual teaching behind almost all organized religions? What are the teachings at their core? Are not the core of most religions built on teachings of kindness and compassion? Are not kindness and compassion actually teachings on how to live together in UNITY? Where do the teachings themselves go once the structure of religion has been built around these teachings? Do you see this in practice within the higher ups of most religious institutions? Do you see this in practice within any of the systems of this world?
I'm not saying that we should make enemies of all government officials, all the CEOs, all religious leaders, all those with an agenda that requires our separation. I'm certain (or at least hopeful) that there are many good and decent people within those institutions. I just want us to wake the f up...to stop feeding the separation...and to actually see the agenda...
The agenda is the undermining of unity.
We need to UNITE. Can we set down our differences? Can we see past republican/democrat, christian/muslim, black/white, rich/poor...? Can we see past the borders, over the walls, through the belief systems? Can we come together in solidarity and say no more division?? I don't know. It's probably not going to happen today.
Imagine there's no heaven
No hell below us
Imagine there's no countries
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people living life in peace
Imagine no possessions
No need for greed or hunger
Imagine all the people sharing all the world
A brotherhood of man
Is it possible? Never mind enacting it...can we even imagine it??
Tomorrow is a new day.
